Clinton had deficit spending each and every year, there was no surplus, because he always spent more then was budgeted.

But I'll agree that Bush spent like a drunken sailor, only if you agree that 0bama is spending like a drunken Marxist.

And Joe's plan. Why is everyone forgetting Joe's plan.
It was all over the news for months that Biden cut $1T and was going to present his plan. Then he took off for Italy for 1 week when it came time and he's been out of the spotlight since.

Joe's VAPOR plan.

I will re-state it. This poll shows us that 71% of african americans and democrats in states who all voted democrat in the last presidential election believe the GOP is handling the debt ceiling poorly.

If you refute that, please actually post some data to back yourself up.

Re-stating errors doesn't make them right, and guessing doesn't replace reading skills, either.

Total Respondents: 810
Total Republicans: 214
Total Democrats: 272
Total Independents: 324

"Do you approve or disapprove of the way Republicans in Congress are handling the current negotiations on the debt ceiling?"

Approve: R - 42, D - 11, I - 17
Disapprove: R - 51, D - 82, I - 73

Poll taken July 15 - 17.

When you consider the Right's message that Independents lean more conservative than moderate these days and that Obama is only liked by super-liberals, the numbers from Independents are interesting. They seem disapproving of both sides, but more so at Republicans.

When asked what these "cuts" consisted of, nobody could give an answer.

They are just pulling numbers out of the thin air - same as they're doing by printing trillions of dollars from nowhere.

However, KoolAid stock must be soaring.

BTW - those $4 Trillion in "cuts" would be spread over 12 years...or about $300 Billion/year. The current annual deficit is $1.4 Trillion/year.

Whoopdedoo.

Plus the massive deficits Medicare & SS are about to explode with all the boomers retiring, so who is he kidding?

Yes, the cuts were down the road.

I'm not here to argue the 4TRILLION/1TRILLION plan. You asserted that there was no plan. Yes, there was. You might not like it/agree with it/discount it but it was still a plan. That was what I was responding to.
uhm

1. it was a 3/1 'plan'
2. there never has been a plan from obamy...just talk

3. and most importantly...what is cutting 4 trillion (OVER TEN YEARS) going to do...thats about 400 billion a year.....we currently have a 1.4(1.6 actually) trillion dollar DEFICIT....cutting .4 trillion off a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit is...still deficit spending

when will the dumbocrats figure this out

we need 14 trillion(over ten years) worth of cuts...anything less is a fail

I am not looking for agreement, because I know Bush spent like a drunken sailor, and I know Obama is spending as well. The funny thing is that their spending targets is practically identical, so if one is a marxist, then so is the other. I did not vote for either, so I am not obligated to defend either.
