Compared to our completely corrupt media, they are way more honest than them at least. I do not care for alazeera at all. If you want to listen to an Arab network for your news, it is on you. Here is from RT's website:
"RT America broadcasts from studios in Washington, DC. We report on the other side of the story, not making any conclusions, but raising the unanswered questions.
Tune in to watch news reports, features and talk shows with a totally different perspective from mainstream American television"

I totally agree
Yes I am sure Russian reporters will report "the other side of the news"
Al Jazeera is a joint project with British intelligence. Al Jazeera is not objective because they do have British ties. But I suppose you're one of the people that believe Fox News is "fair and balanced" right?
PS - I know that we are all lovy dovy with the Federal Republic of Russia these days but you are aware that RT is a government funded news organization in a country where there is a shocking degree of old school adherence to the government's view point, policies and most importantly objectives.

And that's why I like to watch them because they aren't influenced by the US government. Which is why if you want to know about the truth about a president, best to watch a news source that supports the party opposite of the president. Fox is not going to objectively report on a Republican president and will keep criticism to a minimum. MSNBC/CNN does the same thing to Democrat presidents. By the way on that token, you do realize that BBC is a government run and government supported company right?
The way I look at news sources is simply, pick your bias. RT criticizes the US government and the West but I don't really care what the Russian government is doing and they wouldn't criticize the Russian government, obviously.
I thought I should point out that Thom Hartmann also works for RT

What about all of our media that is funded by evil trans national corporations which is even worse. RT is by no means perfect, but they align with my views more than the media here.
