Yes the government/military looks at all possible situations and plans for them, the same people freaking over this would whine if they had no answer if something did happen. We practiced riot control while I was in the Army and it was not the job of the Army to control riots then either.
Sorry to disappoint folks, but the sky is not falling, you can come out from under your beds now.

This is great, now we can all feel better knowing we are protected by special troops of the US Army on the Homeland!

On page 19 we read:

Imagine battle hardened troops coming home to be our policeman.

On page 68 we read the reassuring words:

I don't know about you but I feel a whole lot better with Big Brother in charge!
Will the brown shirts be optional?

What a complete waste of time and money. I wonder how much the consultant was paid? I think stuff like this comes under the catagory of "waste, fraud and abuse".

Obama W. Bush made sure of that.

Was your Army "riot training" in preparation for a "police force" for the "stability" of the American public? I highly doubt it, therefore your experience is irrelevant.

Anything that even remotely asserts that a military "police force" is needed to ensure the "stablity" of the American public should have you wondering what the hell is going on that our government believes that such a contingency is necessary.

You truly don't believe **** stinks do you?

There was a reason this crap was dreamed up under a socialist minded regime.

I just think it's cute that people actually believe any plans against a revolting public would be effective at all. I guess "hope" is exists for certain Army officials too.

Not only that but question your representatives about this study at townhall meetings and get a feel as to if they support a police state.

We see how well this US worldwide police force idea worked in Afgh/Pakistan/Iraq. Our troops were issued orders that they couldn't shoot back at those who were firing at them as soon as they dropped their weapons. Couldn't take out the enemy who were planting roadside bombs but had to watch instead. And when the so called friendlies we were training got a chance they killed their trainers, threw down their arms and ran from the scene (of that hotel invasion), stole arms and sold them some ending up on our Mexican border, etc. Waste of our time, lives, and money as nothing has changed there and a terrible position to put our troops in whose presence actually makes us more enemies.

These terrorists have a deadly mental attitude that needs straightening out. Until we convince them that they shouldn't teach their young kids in schools, at home, and in mosques, the pursuit of terrorism as glorious to the spread of their oppressive philosophy whatever we do will only be a band-aid. Send psychiatrists instead.
