Just look at China in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, there are no "greedy" corporations or rich people. Everyone were in the same class, the poverty class. Yes, the government was really rich. Power and money is concentrated in the few hands.

Then come the end of 70s and beginning of 80s, the Chinese government finally allow people to keep their earning. They allow free enterprise and allow free market to work. They have low tax. In just 30 years, look where they are in the world.

People are saying that China will take over US as the world #1 economy in the next decade or two. Can you believe what can accomplished when you allow what free market to work?
Nobody is saying we don't want the free market. But sucking up to corporate loudmouths and kissing their arsese seven days a week ain't great neither. We're a long ways from China.

The same one who was elected instead of installed by a one-time SCOTUS ruling? The one who didn't pidddle away a tidy surplus then lie to start an irrational war? The one who was a Constitutional Law Professor and Editor of the Harvard Law Review? Yes, I still prefer him to his pathetic competition. Really.

The fact he was a Constitutional law professor at Harvard shows what a pathetic state higher education is in. Obama, like Bush, neither pay attention to, nor adhere to the Constitution in any manner.

What do you do?

Little anti-Vegas are ya?

Vegas exists to make money, period. Every mother's son knows that the odds at casinos are not to the advantage of the gamblers. People actually do get addicted to alcohol, drugs and gambling...it's a personal choice initially, but later it gets you broke and unhealthy. My biggest gripe has to do with water consumption and what it's doing to neighboring states and northern Mexico, but that's another thread.
I worked for 20 years as a surgical nurse and then taught English at the university level...I've been around the park once or twice. Now I work for myself, at something that I enjoy. I work for a hospice service when time allows. According to my patients, I gave excellent shots...I'm glad to have been able to help so many different people; I feel lucky.

Of course the odds aren't in favor of the players, thats why it's called gambling.
(Incidentally, playing perfect strategy 21 while using a basic counting method actually does give the player about a .5% edge, but thats a whole different topic).

The effect in northern mexico is not a concern of ours.

Yes, people with weak minds and addictive personalities get addicted, but that is not the fault of the casino owner. That is a choice made by the individual. It is their fault, and theirs alone.

Spoken like a poor person

Like it or not, money does indeed provide happiness. How happy would you be sitting in your tent in the middle of summer baking to death because you didnt have money to rent a place and have some air conditioning? Not very happy at all I assume.

Well anyone who actually does well for themselves is hated by the left. It proves every theory they have wrong. That hatred turns into an obsession with taking their money and giving it away to their parasitic voter base.

I saw Steve Wynn give an interview on Bloomberg Television about a month ago. He said "Essentially we are no longer an American corporation". He went on to say that most of the revenue and profit growth is being driven by his casinos in Macau.

He just another example of how corporate leaders in America turn their back on America and then criticize the government regulation BECAUSE THEY CAN'T MAKE MORE MONEY when they are making in come caes millions, hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars.
