I wasn't saying anything about the sensibility of owning a mobile home, just that I would bet that MOBILE home owners account for a good little portion of those "modern poor" that own their own homes.

I never said they were suffering because they could not go out to eat. How is going out to eat once a month living a good life. Elitist like you who like to look down on the poor want to keep the poor to having as little as possible. I mean how dare poor people be able to eat out once in a while only people like me should be able to do that. Poor people are second class citizens to some people and it is sad.

That would also be why owning a 2010 Ferrari 360 versus owning a 1991 Buick Regal is a major difference as well. One person owns a ****-box, and the other guy has a Regal.
Ahh,as long as the poor person owns crappy luxury items,it is okay.

But if the poor person has nice stuff, they should be made to sell those items or not get help.

Crappy luxury items that does not make sense. Do you even know what the word luxury means? I do not think anyone thinks a used TV or video game system is a luxury except you Whats next poor should not have indoor plumbing because that is a luxury. These people are not going to be happy until the poor in the U.S. are living like the poor in 3rd world countries.

No one said it wasn't but having these things does not prove that the poor are well off. The report never never said how poor people got these items and if these items were new or used but you and others just want to assume they bought them and bought them new.

So those items aren't necessities?

Would that mean they are luxury items?
