This is a very good point indeed. Those on here arguing against privitization of the space program claim the reason is that private companies would not hold safety as a priority like the government would. Yet, when they disagree with a government agency, which is designed to keep their food sources safe, they suddenly decide that the government is not putting safety as a priority. Which is it? They do not seem to see their own hypocrisy.

It is disingenious to say that government should maintain one area because they're better at safety and then to say that government can't be trusted to tell us the truth about something being safe or not. Pretty simple to see actually.
