OK my bad. Of course it isn't a "rule" so to speak, but if you want to live and work in this country, then you need to do what most of our ancestors did, and that was apply for citizenship the right way, and learn ENGLISH!
This is neither the legal or illegal immigration forum, that was not brought up.
English is not America's official language, we have none. And most of our ancestors did not learn English. People who come over now adapt much better due to today's technology.

We actually do have an official language.
To be American you have to know English. Its a citizen requirement.
No, English only. This isent like Canada where the Governor General (the British monarch's representative) is required to be bilingual in both English and French.
One of the things I would like to see for the Republican platform in 2012 is adopting English as the sole official national language.
I would vote that Presidents should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time, not look stupid riding a bike and never have had a political event in the home of an admitted terrorist.
I dont care if they do or do not speak spanish.
