We have more rights and freedom today than at any point I can recall. Heck, up until the 14th amendment was passed, the bill of rights did not apply to the states. Not until 1920 could women vote. Miranda rights, freedom of expression, right to privacy, etc.

It is according to the commerce clause.

People don't change.

A gun on each of those planes on 9/11 would have saved many, many lives.

ROFLMAO

What happened on 9/11/01? Some terrorists with boxcutters killed hundreds...

Typical Brady-style anti-gun argument, just like the "blood on the streets" which hasn't happened yet when gun laws are repealed...

Why doesn't this happen all the time in public places?

What terrorists have been armed to the teeth, the 9/11 guys were armed with box cutters...

And an individual to be armed and to protect themselves.

By the way, criminals cannot legally own firearms, why aren't they afraid of breaking the law?

As long as planes can be commandeered to be used as weapons to fly into buildings national security will trump your "none of the governments business"

Why couldn't the terrorists simply charter an airliner?

I think next we all fly in robes and slippers.

I don't think there is any evidence that the TSA groping has ever prevented the bad guys from blowing up a plane.

I likely go through airport security more in a year than you will in your whole life. It ranks pretty low in my business troubles. Few of the countries problems are caused by airport screening other than it getting the tin foil hat wearing high school dropouts all worked up.

Yes, but they cannot do that any longer. If you had NO security, the bad guys cannot commandeer a plan to fly into a building. All they had to do is train the pilots to not open the cockpit door. Problem solved.

TSA has never prevented anyone from flying a plane into a building. And never will.
