Should the survivors of people who are euthanized get insurance money? That is the real question.
Take away all means of profiting from grandma kicking the bucket and that would tell us the person really wanted it. BUT I know old people can be talked in to kicking the bucket for the family's welfare so that may not even fix that problem.
Should physicians, nurses, etc..., be paid for helping a person commit medically assisted suicide? I say no. No profit for killing under the guise of "medical procedure". Same should go for abortionists.

We need to make more effort to rid ourselves of all undesirable people.
I'm in the middle but leaning to no, it's almost legal now, when my Dad was sick the Medicare Doctor constantly tried to get him to give up and die, even to the point of sending Hospice to his room in the hospital, The Rep told him he didn't really want to live having dialysis treatments even though the doctors said it would be temporary.
I just don't think it being legal would be a good idea being we know the government will regulate it.
If your dying you can refuse treatment and take Hospice care as youpass.
I haven't even had good experiences with hospice care. They give you so much time to die or they leave. I am glad my mother never had it. The ex-hospice nurse told me some sad stories. No one can work in that field for long.

It is a medical procedure. BTW, Dr. Kevorkian never took a dime for it.
Now how did I just absolutely know some proponent for eugenics would protest that suicide using a physician is "a medical procedure".
Package it any way you want to, premeditated murder is still murder, be it in the womb or "euthanasia".
What do you care if someone else wants to end his life?
