It's a dangerous, stressful job but you still can't treat everybody like a pos.
There is sop for traffic stops, officer and driver safety, protocols, etc. This "officer" ignores them all and then gets made his own sloppy police work could have gotten him killed!!
Then as it's becoming more and more the norm, the citizen ends up paying the price.
Yes, I saw that on the Ohioans for Concealed Carry website. All the details are not out yet but from the video it does appear that someone is wound a bit too tight and cannot handle the stress of the job. Food service may be a career option before this is all over.
To be "fair and balanced" this is a video of an officer in CA having a professional encounter.
That's why cops definitely need to have frequent and regular psychological examinations and kick out those cops that fried their 'roid-raging brains while on the job.

Just saw this on the news. This cop is a MORON and is a shining example of why LE is losing ground in public opinion. Telling the guy he should just step back and " put 10 from his 40 in your sorry a$$"...????. The "perl" did not ever offer so much as one untoward comment or action but he was treated as if he was heading for a driveby. A carload of bangers would have been treated better. I have been pulled over like this ...I have a ccw...NV puts it on you DL. Never was I treated like this. Quite the opposite. Hell I'm one of the good guys. Ohio needs to screen their academy apps a bit better maybe. How would this punk act when its for real and the shtf? I would.t want him having my back.
the cop in the OPs video went way off the deep end and needs to lose his job as a result. fortunately cops like him are few and far between. unfortunately it is cops like that that give the good cops a bad name.
We all know that most cops get drunk on power and get their kicks out of shoving people around. Whatever that thing is that makes you want to be a cop, that's also the thing that means you shouldn't be a cop.
Here in CA, the police are miserable and not well respected by the community. It feeds off each other. The cops complain they don't get any respect, but when they scream and yell and rave at people for allegedly committing a traffic violation, it doesn't bode well.

Police Officers want to go home at night too and the Sovriegn Citizen and OafKeepers types are a direct threat to their safety. People who believe they can shoot and officer performing his duties if they conflict with the idiots interpretation of the Constitution.

Who is "we" ? Those who have arrest records perhaps?
Seriously, I have never met an LEO who met the description you posted.
