What an absolute piece of sh*t!
I don't listen to Beck, frankly I find his conspiracy rantings nauseating, but when I first heard of this camp and its motives. I immediately thought of the Hitler Youth. Of course there are differences but both seem to be about the indoctrination of young people into a political way of thought. That can't be denied.

Who does a camp for kids that's sponsored by a political party?

There are religious youth camps Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, but politics?

It's political indoctrination.
Jesus, educate yourself. Its common that teenagers are involved in politics and they chose a party that represents their interest. Its not the other way around. The party does not invite random teenagers and then brainwashes them. Some teenager actually care and want to be politically active.

Not true. It was not mandatory and only turned into a military wing when the war for Germany was all but lost.

Fair enough.
Unfortunately, I can see that some of his devoted fans will agree with him without having any clue about the subject.

Are you American? Cause I don't recall political agitation in high school. In college yes but not high school. This Norwegian group when I heard it seemed very odd at first blush but I figured maybe the Europeans do things differently.

It became mandatory in 1939 when the war started. Educate yourself.

Teens can't vote until 18 in the USA. And it's not all that common for teens in the USA to be ingratiating themselves in political activity which is why this is odd for Americans to conceive of and why Beck mentioned the Hitler Youth.

I am European and it is common that some teenagers chose to be politically active but most don't really care about politics. Every party has a division for teenagers so its hardly indoctrination when a teenager choses to be politically active and has the freedom to become a member of whichever party she wants.

Well in this case the kids appear to come from families active in party politics. So what you have is a group of elites perpetuating their dominion over a country in the guise of democracy. What's being discussed? Can anyone join? The more I hear of this group the more questions I have.
