I agree. There is no doubt that Nordic involvement in Afghanistan is the reason. Same sort of thing happened in Sweden, and could well happen in Danmark and Finland who also have boots on the ground in Afghanistan.

We are talking about Norway here and not all Scandanavian Countries. From the CIA.

Ethnic groups:
Norwegian 94.4% (includes Sami, about 60,000), other European 3.6%, other 2% (2007 estimate)
Religions:
Church of Norway 85.7%, Pentecostal 1%, Roman Catholic 1%, other Christian 2.4%, Muslim 1.8%, other 8.1% (2004)

There is much bad information out there. Ignorance abounds. Norway has some of the strictest immigration laws in the world. They are also one of the most Christian countries in the world.

You need to get new sources of your information or sue whatever school that you attended or better yet...how about visiting Norway. It is a beautiful Country.

Unfortunatly, in a free country, that kind of security cannot be extended to entire cities

We still got the Church of Norway.

The political right, The Conservative Party and The Progress Party, in Norway are more or less non-religious. Thank Gd for that.

I'm sorry you have to put up with all of the ignorant vomit coming out of the American right's mouths.

Well if it is a homegrown terrorist. The odds would be that the person is probably lutheran, since that is about 86% of the population.

You seem to be misinformed yourself, the membership numbers in the Church of Norway are skewed as you are automatically a member unless you chose not to be. When they do questionnaires roughly 70% classify themselves as atheists.

Of those who are Christian, most of them have a very lenient view on it, only a small minority attend church on a regular basis.

I wouldn't want it, it would be an unlivable police state.

Being a Christian has nothing to do with how many times you attend church. I have never met an atheist who would voluntarily classify themselves as a member of a church, although I am sure there are. But what a strange flag, for a bunch of atheist.
