In listening to Obama speak recently, this morning, I got to wondering if one needs an Obama speak dictionary to keep up with what he means with some of his new terms used to say things. He says one needs to be able to speak to the people in simple words they can understand and then comes up with all kinds of spin to handle the whole thing.
***To be responsible, a leader should express ideas to the American people in clear and informative language. Yet the deficit debate has been marked by Obama’s fondness for referring to “revenues” (taxes), “investments” (spending), the need to “reduce spending in the tax code” (increase taxes), and the importance of “further improving Medicare” (cutting Medicare) by further empowering the Independent Payment Advisory Board, whose cuts—at least under current law—would go to fund Obamacare, not cut the deficit.***
Do you really think that anyone in a important position of trust or power doesn't word things in ways that people like?
Did you ever think to yourself why Republican politicians are so against job destroying tax cuts when they continually appeal for job destroying cuts in spending? Both have negative implications for employment, yet they only talk about the implications for one.
Most people are naive, uneducated, EMOTIONAL creatures. People in marketing, politics, advertising, etc, always use words that have emotional impacts that they're looking for. It's just done in different ways. Republicans will talk about cutting spending because of big government. They won't say that programs for seniors are costing us too much.
I'm not sure why any of this should really be news to you.

We'll soon need a special dictionary to understand what exactly the impostor means.
Barry is trying to do a disinformation dump at the end of the news cycle. He is again threatening seniors and trying to blame the GOP. Impeach this buffoon.
I'll call him a liar, because he is. He claims Dems have presented plans, they have presented nothing. Republicans have presented a number of plans, all the Dems could do was say no.
What a whiny baby. That bad man didn't return my call. Whaaaaaa!

Listening to Obama now, the guy is a disgrace. He is no leader.
Sure cupcake, ever listen to the last POTUS give a speech? I can dig up some youtube highlights if you want. I can remember him speaking after winning the nomination for his party. The commentators on Fox couldn't really say a word. Just in hearing him they knew he was going to be the next Pres.
Of course, if you want disgrace, perhaps you can look to the people who got the country in this mess? Oh wait, that would go against your emotions. Right.

Well when you have a certain small part of the Republican party that is saying that they won't compromise AT ALL and everyone else is doing all they can to come up with an agreement then yes it is their fault. FYI, it would be the opposite if the Democrats were saying that they wouldn't allow ANY cuts in spending to fix the situation.
