No, not much at all. Have you been to any La Raza events? Not likely. Have you spoken to La Raza members? Probably not.

In open conversation La Raza members have no trouble explaining their true intentions and priorities to whomever might listen. Of course that doesn't come up on their website, that wouldn't be smart for them.

Now do you intend on addressing the topic of this thread, that our President addressed La Raza or will you just continue to deflect and try changing the subject like normal?

Maybe its just me... but doesn't... "The Council of The Race" sound a bit like an ego-maniac... I mean "The Race" sounds a bit arrogant to me... Why are hispanics "The Race"? Maybe its a cultural thing... it just seems weird to me and rubs me the wrong way...

It's funny because they seem to not even relate to the President. They only thing they relate to him on is that they know he is the TICKET to what they want ... for their LA RAZA. The thing that sucks about La Raza is that they aren't really for ALL HISPANICS. Hispanics are of ALL shades and backgrounds. From everything I've seen of La Raza, they are just for either Mestizos (Mexicans in the U.S.) or those of European-Hispanic ancesty, a.k.a. White Hispanics. It's weird to me, as a Black American, to see a room full of people who really just want the President to handover handouts to them and they only support him for that. If those guys could get a non-Black Hispanic in the White House, they'd kick Obama out in a second. The President would be crucified if he tried to cater to Black Americans, but here he is basically helping one group of people when he pushes for amnesty and stuff like that.

The United States has huge relations with Mexico. We got into that mess a long time ago and each year the relationship grows. So, the Presidents tend to get buddy-buddy with each one another.

Why do you call them a hate group?
They're simply a lobbying group, looking out for their best interest.

How many threads on this topic do you plan to post?

If they are a racist group, who are they racist against?

I doubt I'll get an answer.
