So your race makes you special?
I like to think I'm a person, not a color.
Nobody race makes them special. But it's the height of stupidity to totally ignore this countriy's history in terms of it's treatment of none-White people in terms of denying them access to the vote, jobs, housing, financial capital, and education based on their race.
It's also the height of stupidity to ignore the fact there are White Americans that still want to keep practices in place that are discriminatory based on race.
I don't get it. People are going to make their own choices based on their own opinions regardless... same thing with renters. I guess racism is okay as long as you don't say it out loud?
That's exactly what some Americans want. The reason they attack the laws is that want to do it with impunity.
Please!! It would be headline news on every major network for months not only would people boycott the store many people would vandalize the stores by throwing trash cans threw their windows....think anarchist rallies. People would stand out front harassing anyone who dared go in. Workers would go on stirke or quit and people would shun others from applying there. Pop stars like lady GA GA would make music videos about boycotting starbucks, and the latest fashion craze would be t-shirts that say things like Starbucks sucks.
The next closest rival chain would get flooded with new customers and Starbucks stock would tank and they would go out of business. That's why it's a stupid argument because no sane company would dare do such a thing. The only color business cares about is GREEN$!
You missed the point of my post. It deals with the ideal of Libertarianism and how it doesn't work in the real world.
Real estate agents aren't even allowed to tell people the crime stats of the area, even if you ask. That's how dumb it has gotten. This is based on the theory of "disparate impact," which is a huge aspect of how the Civil Rights Laws are enforced. This theory states that even if a practice is not meant to discriminate based on race, religion, or ethnic group, if the end result is "disparate impact" for certain groups, then it is unlawful.
If you want to know the crime stats for a given area look them up.
Why would you depend on a real estate to tell you about a neighborhood anyway? As consumer it's in your best interest to inform yourself. Especially when making a purchase as significant as a home.
See what I mean. Get rid of the law and you will expose people like this for what they are. They are much more dangerous and harmful in the closet.
Right. Only a flaming racist would belive in property rights. What kind of person would actually think that a someone has the right to have control of the property that he has invested money, time and sweat into?
Which is why Ron Paul and Rand Paul are very popular with White Nationalist and White Supremist.
I would support Ron Paul, and I belong to neither of those groups! What we need to do is stop dwelling on history (which I realize not all of it is good, but what nations on this Earth didn't have issues past and present), learn from it, and move on! As I've stated before, and I will reiterate again... skin color doesn't mean s*** to me! I am an equal opportunity hater when it comes to ignorance and bigotry, whether you're white, black, green or from Jupiter! It really is that simple!

I don't think you've made a point of how it doesn't work.
