Did the Republicans get kicked out of the Congress because of the tea party fringe politics back in 2006?

So why don't "responsible" Republicans join with "responsible" Democrats and get us a sensible bipartisan solution?
It's those same "responsible" Republicans and Democrats that put us in this $14 trillion plus hole.

It's because you don't understand liberals. Liberals stand for truth and not deception. When we see someone come out with the truth we see beyond the D or R and are just happy the truth is spoken.

it seems to me as if liberals only stand for getting their next paycheck.

they don't care about the fraud in the system.

they don't care that goldman is threatening another meltdown to get their way.

they don't care if gitmo stays open as long as obama okays it.

they don't even care that nothing will be fixed in the economy, or that we are totally going in the wrong direction because obama is in charge.

they don't mind expansion of the patriot act if obama is pushing it.

they don't mind expansion of the TSA if obama is pushing it.

they don't even mind obama threatening seniors and their social security payments so he can get his way.

they don't mind the wars at all as long as obama is pushing them.

they don't object to the corporatocracy as long as they get their checks.

they didn't mind the tax cuts as long as obama signed them.

liberals wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on the butt, with all due respect. i take that back-a few liberals do get some of it:

i didn't want him.

to be fair, we had 3 lousy choices when you look back.

hillary
mccain
obama

not much difference between any of them.

i don't doubt that was intentional.

they all toe the line:

So if you're an Obama supporter, and you're disappointed that your president won't fight for you --- if you're an Obama supporter and you wonder why the president won't stand up for Medicaid, Medicare and social security --- here's the answer. The president really, really is smarter than you. He knows what side he's on and you don't. He knows that the two-party system is a veal pen, where as long as “he can play good cop to the Republicans' ever worsening bad cop, the game is fixed, and not in your favor.
