Is it the left or the right fighting tooth and nail against any attempts to curtail illegal immigration?

Unfortunately the financiers have bought control of both parties so being a Democrat has not helped as much as it should. I do not consider Johnson or Clinton to be liberal Democrats but just pre bought strivers willing to sell his country to the bankers for his own aggrandizement. Why do you think we continued in ‘Nam or agreed to NAFTA?

I support Democrats because there is no longer a Populist party in this country.

The answer to this one is the same as the answer to the parallel question about conservatives helping the wealthy: it doesn't. Pick your poison - you can help the wealthy screw the middle class or you can help the poor screw the middle class. We haven't had a politician interested in the welfare of the middle class -not the upper middle class, but the lower middle and true middle-middle class -(other than to pander to them around election season) in a long, long time, IMO.

I a not a Democrat but do have a question; where did you get the mistaken idea that the reasons are due to the Democrats, if recall correctly (and I do) this was happening under Repubs also. Me thinks someones biasis are showing for all to see.

What taxation? The taxes are the lowest they have been in 60 years.

Businesses are sitting on record profits and not hiring....TRILLIONS.

Do you even know what you are talking about?
