is McCain any worse than the two old girls from Maine, or maybe Reid? I don't think so. Reid is the worst of the old people, in my mind and that is pretty bad with McCain as opposition.

So you've seen the damage that the Tea Party's adolescent refusal to compromise has done so far... and your solution is, we have to get rid of the the rest of the compromisers???

Are you an advocate for one-party rule? Or, two parties are OK, so long as only one gets 100% of what it wants all the time?

There's an "f" word for that kind of government (two, actually).

I feel rather strange making this argument that was made to me when I was young and so full of revolutionary vigor, but it remains a truism. It is easy to stand outside with your placards and slogans, it is quite a different story to govern. Unfortunately, the Tea Party hasn't yet learned the distinction.
I take it your definition of "govern" includes kicking the can down the road.

Whoa! What was under that mask?

Problem is Mr. Boehner,.... Conservatives were raised never to make a deal with the devil. Compromising with the devil, the devil still wins.
Mr. Boehner is not a Conservative.

Ron Paul - 2012
And THAT is why Paul will NEVER get the GOP nmination, meaning he will never win the Whitehouse. He cannot go after GOP leaders and expect them to give him the nomination for their Party. As an Independent candidate he would be doomed to failure as are all others wthout major Party support. Kinda sad but those are the facts of life.

You prefer party over principles?

Sad.

And it was a good thing to have supported raising the debt ceiling... until now. It was a bad thing to have supported raising the debt ceiling... until now.

Republicans... march in lockstep because there is no room for individual thought in the party... you're either with us, or you're with them (the enemy).

No. He puts on his "conservative" pants during the primaries and goes back to being a RINO once the election is over. Rinse-Repeat

Individual thought? Don't run as a Repblican if you don't agree with the party platform. If you want to exercise "individual thought" then quit accepting donations and advertising dollars from the RNC.

Bent, you should become a community organizer for the Paul campaign. Get everyone together and organized for the vote, or write-in if need be. The more you show Paul supporters how many others are out there, the more likely it will be that you succeed.
