A message from Ron Paul

It is time to tear up the federal credit card and implement large spending cuts now, starting with overseas expenditures and unconstitutional bureaucracies. Boehner’s plan will not restrain government spending and only allows for political scare tactics for flawed policies and more spending. Boehner’s plan does not address the budget of next year instead worries about the budget 10 years from now of which nobody is accoutable. An immediate $1 trillion increase in borrowing authority for the President to continue funding endless wars and overseas expenditures does not equal a $1 trillion cut if that cut is phased in over ten years as per the Boehner plan.

The government has a history of promises for government spending cuts with tax increases and everytime never delivered on government spending cuts.

The President and Democrats have no plan, Boehner's plan if passed in the House will become the Harry Reid in the Senate which will give us nothing more debit and future tax increases.

Lead - or get out of the way!!!

Conviction and principle and following the constitution.
A default is going to happen its just a matter of time if you keep spending and destorying the economy based on taxes and debit.

A passed bill or a default either way painful economic times are coming when leadership doesn't believe government spending is the PROBLEM!

Ron Paul

SIGH....please don't fall for the "collapse" propaganda perpetuated by Obama/Geithner/Reid. Yes, we need to change our ways ASAP, but we are not going to "collapse" next week, or the next, or the next.

... Because Ron Paul is a righteous pagan god, and not a politician with his own agenda too?

Here's something to chew on: Obama/Geithner/Reid and friends are in a position of power to make sure what they claim would happen... happens. Don't think for second they aren't evil enough to pull the trigger. If the US defaults there will be pandemonium and a massive grab for power to "solve" the problem.

I say it has been planned destruction for years but then again saying that would be considered crazy right?

I wouldn't worry about the solution they can't get blood from a stone and I don;t think the people will give them everything.

Those dependant will demand it those who still believe in liberty will not just willingly turn over everything to save this corrupt system.

When you are playing tick-tack-toe or checkers with an apponent of equal skill, your only shot at winning is to dupe your opponent into a situation where he looses no matter what move he makes.

We are in such a situation now...

Paul's agenda is to adhere to the oath he swore to his office to uphold the US Constitution. He hopes that by leading by his own exampe that others will join him.

I don't underestimate the evil of this administration in the least. However, I also know that the government has income via taxes, income, payroll, fuel, etc... . They do not have to default anytime in the immediate future.

Right now the markets are reflecting our economic reality more so than our politicians.

Careful...obama followers thought they were getting something different too. Ron Paul is probably the brightest politican on the stage these days, but he's still a politician.
