True, the current brand of Repubs are damaging. I miss the GOP of old.
William F. Buckley was the last respectable one. He is long gone. CNN puts imbeciles like Eric Ericson on (redstate.com) Buckley must laugh in his grave at the illiteracy.
And yes I know what the ONION Is, Amazing how Humor cuts right to s.
Yeah, right. Like the Democrats haven't tried to obstruct a Republican president in the past. It is just a fact of life that both parties try to obstruct each other because they both have different political views on the issues. That's why we can't get anything done in this country.

"President Barack Obama has been increasing the national debt during his presidency by an average of $4.24 billion per day ($4,240,506,004.34) putting him on a pace to increase the national debt by $6.2 trillion ($6,195,379,272,340.74) by the end of his term on Jan. 20, 2013, according to the debt figures published by the U.S. Treasury."
Four billion dollars a day. Six trillion in one term. Swooners need to zip it and read some facts published by the US Treasury for once. This is beyond insane. What is their answer? Why to spend more of course.
at the end of 2010, the DEMOCRATS still held BOTH houses of congress. the republicans did not take over in the house until jan 7, 2011. and the democrats did not pass a budget since 2008, only continuing spending resolutions.
when the republicans did take back the house, they indeed passed a budget to get the government through the end of the 2010 fiscal year, but the senate refused to even take matter under consideration, and thus we had more continuing spending resolutions, which the republicans tried to make a small as possible, but the democrats fought them the ENTIRE way. the republicans have passed a budget for 2011, but again the senate has done NOTHING about it.
it is the democrats that are the party of NO right now, and they are only doing it for political reasons. at least when the republicans were in the minority they tried to block legislation that would hurt the country as a whole.
Exactly. I wonder if the OP will bother to check these simple facts or just continue to put out uninformed ramblings. There is a lot of blame to put on republicans as well, but the OP is way off on this one.
