Nurses and technicians jump through WAY fewer hurdles to get to where they're at.

I guess no one who supports this idea really thinks about what happens when these doctors quit their practice and find it more lucrative to enter another medical related field.

No.

The federal government cannot force private business to provide a service out of "good will" without being properly compensated.

Then again, the left loathe the Constitution.

The only way they could legally do that under the Constitution, is to hire the Doctors as Government employees, like they do in the military.

What's going to happen of course is that only a portion of doctors will choose to be employed by the government.

Not sure if the right know what "properly compensated" means. To them it means "Grossly overpaid".

Medicare funds the vast majority of medical residencies, which are required for entry into medical practice.

The Medicare program also funds residency training programs for the vast majority of physicians in the United States.

Perhaps a "give-back" would be appropriate.

Your point??? People pay what they are willing to pay. Lowering wages and therefore decreasing the supply of doctors will cause doctors to try and charge even more than they are now.
