Yep because the majority of your party's base is uneducated, self proclaimed "common-sense" folk who look down on education.

It seemed to work out for the United States too...2008 things were going so great! How did Obama mess up a free falling stock market, financial credit crisis, a massive housing bubble, record welfare rates, record poverty rates, declining middle class income... It sure looks like you made the right decision in 2004 .
