That shows a fundamental inability to control his base impulses, and exercise sound judgement. It also shows a huge ego. Nobody in his position is stupid or crazy enough to do something like that unless they don't think they are going to get caught.
As for Bernie Sanders he's as bad as the Tea Party Republicans that refuse to allow revenue increases by closing tax loopholes are raising taxes.
The country isn't going to going progress too far if more people aren't willing to compromise.

It's not so much hate as it is fear. That fear led to his being brought down. Unfortunately, he gave them something to work with. New Yorkers loved Spitzer and were very disappointed in his allowing himself to be caught in a scandal.
I have always liked Eliot Spitzer, I think it would be a great idea. Plus we know he has great taste in women.
We don't necessarily need someone who is to the left of Obama to challange him for the nomination. After all, I want a Dem to win in 2012. If the candidate is framed as "too liberal", he or she won't stand a chance.
Another centrist Dem would do, male or female. BUT, one with balls this time!
