They seem pretty relevant to me.

More relevant than the left.

The left couldn't persuade obama to do their will when he had both houses of Congress.

Elections have consequences.

There is no capitalist country. Every country from Cuba to China to America is a hybrid of capitalism and socialism. Even Cuba the last country that is as far communist as it is still has capitalism built into it. We have Medicare, Medicaid, social security, the VA, to name a few. Most of the low information tea baggers do not understand this. Socialism is a good thing as is capitalism. Pure of either is not a good thing. If capitalism were pure, than the gov. would do nothing, if your town flooded than its up to you to save that kid in the water. Tough luck if you can't do it. Someone breaking into your home, better be a good shot and if your old oh well you had a good life. [well maybe not under pure capitalism. ] And pure socialism is communism and that does not work as it kills incentives for people to be innovative. But a hybrid seems to work well. The gov. needs to run some things. We need to have a safety net as a society that is of benefit to all. Fire Dept's. are nice when your home burns.[unless you like in Tenn. and forgot to send in your check to the county] Then its let it burn baby. If your wife could not get out oh well there are more fish in the sea. The Tea baggers are being seen for what they are, low information voters who were mad that the black guy got in and being a tea bagger is better than saying racist KKK member. The center is seeing them for the crazy idiots they are and I suspect many are going to have to find other work in 12. Joe Walsh [not the great musician] of Ohio I hope is one, a guy who yells at the president not to put one more dime of debt on his kid and come to find out hes as dead beat dad who owes 117000 dollars in child support. I guess we see what he is made of.

Gotta love all this hate and vile from the Left, the media, and even our despicable pathetic joke of a Vice President.

What's ironic is that so many people bought into Obama's lies of Hope and Change and the end to business as usual. Sure, that wouldve been great to see some hope and change and especially the end to typical Washington Politics. But we havent seen it. Yet we finally get some new people in that really intended on bringing change. The Tea Party candidates are among the very very few who actually are trying to stop the business as usual in DC. But now when you see them trying to do so, doing what Obama lied about, the liberals get all whiny.

We need MORE people like the Tea Party freshmen. This movement needs to grow. Only then can we truly save this country. Only then can we finally put a stop to business as usual. Put a stop to the endless lobbying and corruption by public officials who do whats best for them, and not us or this great country.

so you would rather defualt ruin the AAA credit rating and be have a even worse economic suituation then we are in now..... Just from the 11th hour deal to pass it has ruined any hope for things to get better and expect more jobs lost and massive layoffs in the auto and aerospace sectors. Since most people won't be buying many new cars and not many airlines will be order any of boeing's comercial planes.

expect more people to default on their car payment and morgages and to lose their cars and home to the bank cause if they lose their job they lose their home if the still owe alot on it.

so yeah more TEA Party freshman are great if you want to live like they did in 1776 with no power, no heat, and no car. I mean what till the winter in the northeast... freezing your butt off in the dark in your own home cause you can't pay the heating and power bills and have 20% national un-employment.

heck the change I may do is go pan for gold maybe I will luck out and collect enough for an once hey I do live in the PNW and have not bee up to the Yukon for a long time so...

Do liberals not understand that the AAA credit rating WILL be taken away if Washington continues to print and spend and borrow money without limit? And that the dollar WILL lose reserve currency status for the same reason, causing all our imports (especially oil) to skyrocket in price? Yes, we still have a year or two, if we're lucky. But that's not much time, when the economy basically goes from stagnation to total and utter collapse in the course of few days.

The Tea Party wasn't trying to make the U.S. default, it was trying to use the only leverage it had--a time constraint--to get the spendthrift politicians to STOP spending us into bankruptcy, inevitable credit downgrading, and loss of the dollar of a reserve currency. As usual, the corruption of Washington is too ingrained to allow ANY reform before total collapse. So down we go at terminal velocity, with the cliff bottom waiting below.

How will continuing Washington's spendthrift insanity keep jobs, unless you are a government employee? A nation can't survive without a healthy private sector creating jobs for government to parasitize off of. All this over-regulation and taxation, combined with the Free Trade both parties championed, has resulted in all the good private jobs being sent overseas. They won't come back until the massive burden of government taxation, over-regulation, and the treat of future anti-business legislation are GONE.

Liberals think we can have a nation with almost no private sector jobs, but a huge Government that serves as a substitute for actual productive activity. They never learned the basic economic fact that Government does nothing but take from productive workers, and spend their money on things IT wants (graft, corruption, pork, wars, etc.). Any money spent on interest on the debt paid to foreigners, foreign wars and arms buildups, is 100% lost to our economy, while the spending of Washington does virtually nothing to help the areas the average worker lives in. There is no "multiplier" from government spending, it ranges instead from a total loss (foreign spending) to merely large losses by enriching large companies at the expense of poor workers.

The Tea Party, and the Libertarian Movement, understand that the Big Government-serving-Big-Business model has failed utterly, and was doomed before it began. With few Middle Class workers getting paid enough to tax heavily, government MUST be reduced to a size and cost that the few workers left can bear. And by reducing government, we make the nation a better place where new businesses can be formed to serve the workers who would like to spend the money they earn, rather than send it to an irresponsible crook in Washington.

But the Liberals control Washington (although they are only 20% of the citizenry, who largely live in the real world), and we seem doomed to keep on with the insanity until we have total economic and national collapse. I guess it's impossible to avoid total catastrophe now.

I have yet to see any reason to go where the Tea Party and most of right wing want us to go. All of these places would be a financial and social disaster for most of America.

We can start by supporting any and all Democratic Party Candidate in All future elections on the local, state and federal levels. Donate to them and work for their election and we can free ourselves of the monied wealth suckers damaging almost all of us.
People do not want to change. The same policies are being used over and over and over again. And guess what? They fail each time.
It is never about 1 person. There is not a superman to save people. It is, and always has been about policy. When the same failed policy is used the result is failure.

You speak of disaster. Open your eyes. We are there now and it has been caused by the policies the Tea Party is fighting against.

When the problem is debt, the answer from the ones YOU support is more debt.

When the problem is we get attacked because we invade and occupy sovereign nations, the answer from the ones YOU support is to continue bombing and killing more innocent people as well as up the ante and go into more countries.

Quit treating the symptoms instead of the causes. Plain and simple, you will continue to vote against your best interests and will do so unless YOU change.

Ha ha - this is hilarious. 6 school levies on the ballot in our area yesterday. The tea party opposed 5 and supported 1. It was the only one that passed.
