Government has NO MONEY of thier own .. Government produces Nothing .. Government only TAKES from the Producers/Earners!
These nut jobs think that Government should Take .. by Force from the Haves and Give it to the Have Nots!

The problem that these Communist/Socialist nut jobs have is .. You eventually run out of other peoples money!

This post has been here over 12 hours so I guess not many of THEM have read it. I haven't looked to see how any of them answered you but I will give you some more thumbs before i do look.
And running full speed into $20 trillion in debt, and ensuring our nation's credit rating is downgraded - that is your idea of caring about the country?
The TEA party wants to put the breaks on this completely insane trillion and a half dollar deficit spending spree, and you see this as un-American?
Very few Tea Party people managed to vote their thoughts the other day. Most of them went with the establishment people from both parties as they tore us a new one when they approved that pile of crap. I agree with my Congressman who considers himself a Tea Partier, these day, that if they had held out they could at least have forced Harry Reid to allow debate on CCB but they didn't even try.
Also, my man believes that August 3 was nothing more than an arbitrary date set by Obama and Geithner. Somewhere on this forum I have posted his reasons for thinking like that in the form of a graph that shows how much money they actually had on hand to spend this month. I think it is great proof what Geithner and Obama did to us.
Well the US is a consumer nation. And if we have no money to consume well then we just print some up. This will not have a happy ending.

Both of those governments had printed paper money to the hilt and some really good cartoons came out about them. Like the one of the Chinese man with a wheel barrow full of money going to get a loaf of bread. It is going to happen to us if we don't get control of Geithner's printing presses.

The TP makes up a huge portion of Americans. There are more TP members then there are liberals.
The TP members are mostly hard working tax paying family people who dont need slapped anywhere as they are a majority to the anti American liberals.
Why do liberals not understand that the TP makes up more in numbers then the radical left wingers in America?

Some of the new Congress men, Rubio and Huelskamp will hold on till people start seeing what has been happening to us. They will keep their voices and the party will finally get the voice they have earned.
While I think that the Tea Party caucus did engage in coercion during the debt ceiling debate, and I think that they were in the wrong for doing that, I have to disagree with your thread title. We live in a society whose government derives its power from the people. Which means that no one, be they racist, fascist, socialist, anarchist, homemaker, scientist, Democrat or Republican, no one deserves to be considered irrelevant.
I agree with most of what you said but I do believe that the Tea Party members who voted with the establishment pols the other day screwed all of us. They should have demanded a debate and then a vote in the Senate for CC&B but they backed off from that. My Congressman tried his best to get those in the House to see that point but too many of them thought the best way to get re-elected was to side with the establishment.

Those poor people really believed they could spend their way out of a depression that was caused by the Allied people and their Treaty but they learned the hard way. I wonder if Geithner's colleges any taught anything about the Weimars and the Chinese. If they did he must have been as a young socialist meeting that day.
How exactly is socialism for the majority and capitalism for the weathly going to work. That means stealing the work of the wealthy and giving it to the ones how can't drive. What happens when we run out of the money from the rich? The rich aren't going to just stand there and let the gov't take their lifes away. Since you will ALWAYS have many fewer people making the big money which will be given to many more other people, what happens when there either isn't enough left for all the people or the rich can't gain enough to "feed" everyone. Then what? The problem with socialism is that you will ALWAYS have more people eating than you have cooking.

Actually, the date was not arbitrary at all. It was picked so that Obama didn't have to deal with that pesky old "president thingy", and could get down to the real business of celebrating his birthday and campaigning.
