Tea Party Defectors Targeted (http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/8415-tea-party-defectors-targeted - broken link)

Quote:
The strongest criticisms were directed at Allen West, who ran on the promise of standing firm in his convictions and not compromising his principles. Tom Trento, director of the Tea Party Founding Fathers, called the four lawmakers “Stupak defectors”, comparing them to the former House member who at the last minute changed sides on ObamaCare and “betray[ed] conservatives.” The uproar then was so great that Stupak decided to end his career and step down. As Trento noted

These Stupak defectors have flip-flopped to say they’ll vote for Boehner’s wimp-out bill…Stupak stupidly killed his career and had to exit Congress. [These] GOP defectors are heading off the same cliff.
When you cross the Tea Party...you better start filling out job applications!

Alan West is going to lose his seat to former West Palm Beach mayor Lois Frankel next year in the general, unless he gets a primary challenge in the repub primary in June 2012

I am sure the GOP leadership (who are not Tea Baggers by the way) and the Dems are just shaking in their boots. The Tea Baggers are showing their true colors and the American Voters and Both Major Parties will express their disapproval come election time. Looks like the Tea Baggers have gotten just a little too full of themselves and it is time for a lesson.

Keep dreaming. Lois Frankel is an indecisive nitwit. She has no convictions or viable policies. She turned downtown West Palm Beach into a multi million dollar Ghost town.

Allen West is man of honor, something that is very tough to find in politics today.

and what are their true colors from your warped perception?

The fact they are standing up against a vile establishment?

The fact that they opposed Obama's tax, borrow and spend bill (soon to be law), it would appear.

Tax, Borrow, Spend

or

Cut, Cap and Balance

Which makes more long term fiscal sense?

west palm has a downtown? where? the kravitz center? city place? the courthouse and jail? that place went from boom to bust with the quickness, and if it wasnt for the multi million dollar empty condo towers, "downtown" west palm would look downtown riveria beach or lake worth

but like I said, West will lose to Frankel in the Novey 2012 election, if he doesnt lose his primary challenge first...
