Eleven-year-old aspiring veterinarian, Skylar Capo, sprang into action the second she learned that a baby woodpecker in her Dad's backyard was about to be eaten by the family cat.
"I've just always loved animals," said Skylar Capo. "I couldn't stand to watch it be eaten."
...
"Kids should be able to save a baby bird and not end up going home crying because their mom has to pay $535. I just think that's crazy," said Skylar.
This country is f'ed up, but it's not because of this story, it's because of how half the people can't take 30 seconds to figure out the real story, and instead fly off the handle in some knee jerk response looking to crucify someone.
Explains why the tea party got so many votes in November.

Nope, posts like this is why it is F'd up. What's so F'd up about this is that some jackass thought they were a super hero and turned this person in. That's what is F'd up in this country. You give someone an inch of power and they think they are the judge, jury and executioner all in one. That person should have just minded their business or ATLEAST understood what was going on and not report them for doing a good deed. That right there is what is so F'd up about this country.

Yeah, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Officer turned them in to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
That's pretty F'd up. And then, to top it all off, a clerical error was corrected. My god, this is a really amazing story.

A clerical error???? lol It was an abusive ego maniacal error on that stupid so-called "officer's" part. Like I said, give these government nobodies an inch, they steal a mile. That's what is so F'd up. Look at all the incidents of the government goons stalking out kid's lemonade stands and shutting them down.
