If the law were truly about cracking down on illegal pornographers, why isn't the law drafted to limit warrant capabilities to investigations regarding illegal pornography?

The way it is drafted, the data can be reviewed for any legal purpose. For all we know, this could end up being much more of a bill to crack down on online poker players than anything else.

I believe most keep them for 6 months now on average. The costs should not be that much as it would only involve some additional storage space.

NSA already watches everything. I'm pretty sure they allocate at least half their resources to alex jone's websites.

They already lost this case in the SCOTUS (Reno v. ACLU).

They will lose it again. Maybe they will learn their lesson this time.

Wait till they get the remote brain scan monitor...then they will be able to monitor your thoughts...and a new class of crime (hate thought crime) will be created.

I think that NSA has enough info to hunt for pornographers from Echelon. The new legislation is targeted at the average citizen to control the ideas that may cross their mind. Especially any idea against establishment and about real democracy.

More wasted government mandated costs.... and loss of freedom.

Just what we need in a day when our credit rating drops.
