I think the weight of Obama's chickens coming home to roost is pressing us down. You can only castigate capital, abuse employers, and denigrate success for so long before you really screw things up.
The people at the low end of the "billionaire" range as Obama defines it, you know, the $250k income couples, they pay $50k of Federal income tax under current law. When Obama cries about their greed and selfishness and general defect in character, and makes increasing their taxes the centerpiece of his policy, it is demoralizing.
