IF we need more tax revenue, why do liberals insist on raising taxes on people already working, rather than trying to encourage private sector growth which would create more taxpayers?

Isn't it better to tax more people at a lower rate, instead of having fewer people working and taxing them at a higher rate? Doesn't that just choke the golden goose to death?

It seems like the liberals are always looking at things from the wrong end.

No... there will NEVER be enough money... revenue isn't the problem... spending is the problem... you can cut spending and never have a problem because they will have to make do with it... or you can increase revenue and STILL have a problem because they will just overspend again and again and again...

if they want more revenue, then why not cut spending on crap that is not needed, and spend it on what the USA actually needs. the USA is starting to really go down the same road that rome did.
