Well... I was pointing out that some people think pasteurized milk is better for you... when actually... it isn't...

Geeze, 21 pages and some people still haven't figured out that the issue is not the consumption of raw milk and organic foods, the issue is James Stewart and Sharon Palmer are running a scam on their customers and skirting the CA Health Code and Business Code.

Rawesome is not set up as a grocery co-op, as defined and governed under the California Corporations Code. It's set up as a membership retail club like Costco and Sam's Club, and like Sam's and Costco must comply with all laws and permit requirements.

Just because Rawesome claims to be a private co-op on its webpage doesn't make it so. It's not a co-op. Members don't vote, don't own a piece of the company or a share of the cow, nor do they get a share of each week's produce production. They pay a price for membership which gets them in the door, then they pay high prices for whatever they want to purchase. And Stewart makes a big profit. Labels don't change facts. No more than setting up a house of prostitution and calling it a massage parlor makes it above the law.

Stewart isn't just buying from Healthy Family Farms, he's actually in business with Palmer, and scamming his members. Palmer, by the way, has quite a rap sheet and has done time for previous fraudulent activities.

As for scamming their members who are paying double for organic meats and eggs, check out the truth about Healthy Family Farms. Here are photos

from one of the raids, showing they buy, thaw, soak in water to add weight, and repackage non-organic meats and poultry which are then fraudulently sold as grass-fed organic meats raised at HHF. The eggs are also non-organic and purchased from other farms for $1.50 a crate and repacked as as HHF organic for $3.50 a dozen. The few chickens raised in grassless filthy pens at HHF are fed a non-organic feed, but sold as grass-fed organic. Lab reports show they contain mercury and arsenic.

Read here for investigative reports, evidence, lab reports, testimonials from customers whose children got sick and workers who witnessed the fraud. Unhealthy Family Farm

Consume all the raw milk and organically-grown foods you want. It's legal and no one cares. Hopefully you will be sensible enough to do your homework and choose a safe clean source for your purchases. But don't fault the government for doing it's job to keep consumers free from the fraudulent and unhealthy practices of con artists like these people.

So you're saying the raid on Rawesome Foods in CA. is based on the claims in your post?... Why'd they dump $10,000 worth of raw milk instead of testing it?...

No, the raid was based on a year of surveillance and investigation.

Two raids in 1 year?... If they had a case... Why weren't they shut down the first time?...

They were shut down the first time. But they defied the law and illegally reopend with the closure notice still attached to the front door. Hence the arrests with the second shutdown.

Wow. Do I have egg on my face. At first I didn't want to believe you but after a bit of checking, it seems you are correct.

Thank you for posting this. I must admit the bust seems justified.

However I still think Monsanto is an evil empire!

And with this post, you can quietly hear all the conspiracy folks and alexjones linkers sneaking for the exits. Kudos to the few that have stuck around to discuss and are after the truth and not just grinding agendas.

I've even warned people in these threads that the raw movement is being infiltrated by scumbags out to make a buck by selling the same (or worse) stuff you can get from your local grocery store and when they get busted
people cry out that the government is out to get ALL organic producers.

This ALSO happened to the vitamin craze (nothing like selling fake vitamins for huge profits over the internet.). ANY hot topic or trend gets swarmed by con-men and scam artists.
