Wait until your medical bills get large enough so that it'll be impossible to pay for them "out-of-pocket". Then you'll sing a different tune.
So, if we can't pay for something, we should turn to the government for help? Do you not see a fundamental flaw there? I'm gonna turn to my family, my employer (if I'm still working) or some non-government organization (that hopefully isn't receiving funding from the government) for help.
