Carroll O'Conner was an awesome actor.

As a Tea Party supporter who has been to a few local gatherings, I don't fit the "Archie Bunker" stereotype at all. I have a BS and MBA degrees. I work in the information technology field. I attend church regularly if you consider weddings and funerals regular. My musical tastes vary between Texas blues (SRV & ZZ) to metal (Pantera & Anthrax). I am a pet owner with 3 rescued cats. I have no kids because I'm not crazy about them (even though they love me).

What unites me with the wide array of Tea Party supporters is a belief in the Constitution as written. The federal government needs to stick to the 18 enumerated powers. We believe that you don't spend more than you take in unless under dire circumstances. Then you look at the ROI (whether monetarily or otherwise) and then make the decision. We believe that you are entitled to keep what you earn. I could go on but you get the idea.

I am an independent thinker and I chose the Tea Party without any pressure from them at all.

From my observation, the tea party is a bunch of angry middle class people following the latest suburbanite trend.

Well said.

The populist tea party movement represents a real threat to the socialist agenda coming from the Left because it emphasizes fiscal and personal responsibility and constitutional government. Thus, the vicious and vehement attacks on it and the people who support it.

Unlike the Filthy tax dodging rich, and the blood sucking parasite welfare queens, the hard working blisters on your hands and sweat on your brow middle class is what has built this nation and what this President and his administration has been dead set on destroying.

as the saying goes:
"When you keep your cool, when everyone else looses theirs, maybe you haven't grasped the situation".

Dems are just mad they didn't think of "tea party" first. They tried to copy with their coffee party but nobody was buying. Kinda like talk radio. They tell the truth there and when the left tells the truth in what they believe and want the country to become they're listeners tune out.

Here's the mission of the coffee party..........

"not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges we face as Americans."

Bunch of worthless commies.

+1
laughed out loud when the 'teabag' insult showed up again - I was like back to that again/already? Didn't work 2 years ago, but then again 'racist' and more recently 'terrorist' don't seem to be working either ... I guess why not recycle 'teabag' again? too funny!
