this has been in the making for 30 years, and were not even at the climax yet.

i think the most gullible people, and the ones who annoy me the most, are the ones who believe a republican or democratic president can actually do anything to solve the problem.

we made our bed years ago, quit whining that you have to lay in it now.

So, what, people should just accept it?
One person can't change it. But one person can get a message out and hopefully it inspires others to do the same.

:: points to Mr Ron Paul ::

the people who "run" the country are seeing record profits, so there is no downturn for them.

I don't agree this economic depression has been in the making for 30 years but I too get annoyed with those gullible people who believe all the false statistics, facts and figures on the nightly news. 9% unemployment rate? Come on now. Just how stupid does this govt think the people are? Oh geez I should not have asked that.

I'm preparing myself to survive it.
I look at Greece and what is going on their among the normal joes (plenty of stories on the net) and what happened in Argentina (also plenty of stories on the net) and I'm getting my house in order because I will survive this.

There are a bunch of us that have been pointing it out with charts, vids and articles over and over again. But you are right most just do not want to accept it, myself I have been preparing for 4 years and will continue to do so.

Maybe you don't remember Ronald Reagan. I do. I recall how this country was in a decade long funk with a succession of bad leaders like Nixon the Criminal, Ford the Clown and Carter the Inept. I remember inflation, 20% interest rates, odd/even gasoline rationing and long lines when you could get gas. Then there was 5 years of stagflation and 3 years of American hostages being held by Iran. Enter Reagan.
Reagan declared it was morning in America. He made us feel optimistic. Finally we had a REAL leader. And Reagan got to work. He let the Democrats and Tip O'Neil know there was a new sheriff in town and he was not in the mood for games. And he turned this country around and we had almost 30 years of continuous prosperity. The majority of the population, until this recession, never knew hard times. So don't say a President cannot solve problems.

We've managed to stumble through for 235 years despite whiners, hand-wringers, nay-sayers and gloom merchants like yourself. I think we'll manage to stumble through for a few more. I'm not ready to throw in the towel.

Be sure to leave your citizenship at the border as you exit the country, fair-weather-patriot.
