How depressing and sad. They are saying many of the dead, up to 20 by some accounts were Navy SEALS. A good chance some of the dead were involved in the Osama raid.
I'll leave the discussion of the politics of this war to others. I just want to express my sincere condolences to the families of the deceased.
Whether this was an accident or not. You don't even have to care about these soldiers that died. Just look at things from a monetary perspective............A complete and utter waste. How much more money are we going to throw at this stupid war. How many millions does it cost to replace 20 SEALs?
Now this is a complete tragedy. Do Americans realize we just lost 20 ****ing SEALs at one time? Wow! When are soldiers going to rise up an say enough is enough? Or do they have to keep doing what they are doing because it's their "job". And that's what they "Signed up" to do? Hot air patriotism. These wars will never end. America is circling the drain. We are done.

Of course you know what I had implied, but interpreting it literally is like looking for a physical iceberg if I said that something was just the tip of the iceberg.
I am happy Americans are also gradually moving away from their bellicose past the way Europeans have. 31 dead soldiers is nothing compared to previous wars where routinely hundreds of thousands or even millions of soldiers died. But it seems people finally realize what a waste every single lost life is, thus the outcry now because of this incident.
The West should not waste its people on Taliban and other morons like that anymore. The West should focus on quality defense alone. No need to invade other countries to do so...
We need to get out of Afghanistan in total. We need the money we are spending there, to pay for the TParty caused Credit downgrade. Plus, have we not spent enough lives there?
We aint going nowhere. Gotta fight for those rare earth elements now that China is hoarding plus ensure the oil from the caspian region is traded in US dollars. And yes there is the tea party war mongering racist redneck gun totin bible thumpers. Forgot about that.
20 of them were Navy Seals and part of the same Unit that killed Bin Laden...
