I certainly wouldn't describe the healthcare bill as "Leninist." I think the correct description is "corporatist."

He know that most Americans need better health care, and a system that serves them not the insurance companies. I think history may prove it was a dangerous move during a deep recession and with stiff partisan opposition, but having to the courage to work the American people, not partisan triangulation is what I am looking for in the president.

For what it is worth, I think McCain would have done the same sort of stuff. You know thinking for yourself is sometimes desirable in a president.
We have no idea how many OTHER advisers told him this wasn't a good time for a health care reform of this magnitude but polls consistently showed the country to be against it, too. That isn't "leadership". That's egotism and narcissism. "Leadership" is listening to your advisers, consulting with them and taking their advice into consideration. Obama just pushed ahead, ignoring both polls and advice.

He did the same exact thing when he formed his own Advisory Committee on budget recommendations!

What His Own committee recommended .. He didn't like and so .. He ignored it and NEVER offered any solutions of his own!

So NOW it's all the Republicans, Conservatives, Tea Party folks who are to blame for this mess we are in!

I expect that Obamacare will be repealed. This program is more expensive than our current healthcare system. We simply cannot afford the program and waivers have been issued in abundance negating the purpose this "healthcare reform".

You mean just forget about this Titanic of a health care bill that is bearing down on a massive iceberg??? Nope. Not about to happen. Surely, you know about the many challenges still waiting their day in court. This won't be over with until the SC rules and not likely even then.

Thank you and now Rep coming to you. For seeing and understanding the truth. Too many seem to ingore. Hiding behind closed doors, and BRIBE Congress, not a way to do business.
Your not the first person who brings up DICTATORSHIP, i know many people from day one, and some dems, who have come to realize, he operates the Presidency as a Dictatorship, they will not be voting for him this next time around.

That is not true. Up until the big "ObamaCare" conservative media blitz, most Americans have said they want health care reform for decades. Perhaps the final legislation did not get to what they wanted, but he was not ignoring the people.

No, that would be fabricating justification for a war and refusing to provide funding for it.

Obama is nowhere near a dictator. If anything, he wants to compromise too much and with people who really will never reciprocate.
