The Obama legacy on this will be, the 1st US President that had to fight an American Political Party to keep it from economically trashing the Country.

I'd really like to disagree with you but it is on him. He knew he was dealing with nut job Tea Partiers who wanted to wreck the countries credit rating, he was offered a way out by McConnell, he could have invoked the 14th Amendment and chose not to. It's on him

Legacy.

Massive mistakes and tons of failures.

The worst in modern history by far if not the worst ever.

His legacy will be one who had the most promise, had the country on his side and then destroyed the country and divided the country apart.

The blaming Bush did not work, the lie about having the DREAM TEAM of the best minds on earth working with him failed, his stealing of 800 billion dollars that did not work and the list goes on and on.

His goal is to find ways to blame others for his wanting to take down the American economy to a level to where everyone has to rely on the government.

The TParty tried, but they couldn't do it.

Sorry, but 3 long years of obamanomics have done that.

You think people/voters don't know which party is the one for bigger government, more spending, more taxes?

This gives the GOp even more incentive to cut, cut, cut.

Like it or not, Obama's legacy will be that he was the first black President. 50 years from now, no one will remember the rest of this stuff. That's probably good because he pulled us out of what would have been a depression. These are difficult economic times but always remember how much worse they can be.

He pulled us out of what could have been a depression?

Do you mean the depression that was caused by Nancy and Harry after they took over in 2007?

Todays economy is worse then it was at any time in my life. On Obamas watch even after he stole 800 billion and ran with it.

I do not consider him to be a black President, but if you want it to be that way then he will be remembered as the one who failed.

Had they agreed to closing the tax loopholes, we would be in a much better position and the credit rating of the U.S. would not have been downgraded. Find another Democratic President that would have made that deal. They should have jumped at it when they had the chance.
tax revenue is not the problem!! it is our spending. why allow the government to tax the private sector more so that they can simply flush the money down the toilet its ridiculous!!! Obama and the democrats will spend us into oblivion. make real cuts before looking at higher taxes. the deal Obama sign has no real spending cuts none.
