The Debt Deal's Failure - TIME

Great article and succinctly put. The best quote: "What the debt crisis has highlighted is that Congress, the heart of day-to-day government, is utterly and completely broken."

IMO, there is no hope, at least with this current batch. Obama has sealed his fate, as have many in Congress.
