It never should have been criminalized. The hemp on which it grows is worth more than the leaves that are smoked. I agree with the legalization of the plant.

FWIW – I am not a user because I do not like the effect it has on my body.

I say we just legalize it. According to the tea party, we can't raise any more taxes.

True, but that's not the reason drugs should be legalized.

We do not need government telling us what to eat, drink or smoke.

Telling the citizens what to consume is not a valid function of government.

So it really doesn't matter if it's healthy or dangerous.

Default Very interesting program!

I think we need to take a look at the REAL reason cannabis is still illegal. Like, who has the most to lose by legalizing it? Big pharma, possibly? It's a horrid shame that people with serious medical conditions are denied something that could actually HELP them.

How about allowing individuals or groups to grow MJ and not tax it? Not everything needs to be taxed.

There was never any legitimate reason for marijuana to become illegal in the first place. It blows my mind that this craziness is still going on all these years later. Legalize it

There's no good answer to that question. The world just makes no sense sometimes.

Will only go along with you if you eat it, not smoke it.
