Lincoln wasn't even that good of a president. Trampled constituional rights and terribly mismanaged the war (If he had made good choices the South would have been done in a year outside of Lee and Virginia and the Southern states were an embarassment, at least the officers were). The reason he gets so much good press is cause he freed the slaves (which was poltically motivated more than anything) and won the war (meaning Tecumseh Sherman and Grant won the War)

Lincoln won the Civil War by printing his own debt free currency (Greenbacks)... The British bankers then assasinated him... They went on to create the "FED" in 1913...
