(1) We need a Congressional act requiring an immediate draft whenever forces are engaged anywhere in the world
plus
(2) We need to end college deferments.
Trump was horrible today, but it is in his DNA. Obviously, the family bred someone who made sure someone less well off fought, and possibly died, for him.
That ship sailed long ago. Reagan, Clinton, Romney, W Bush, too late now.
reagan served in the army during world war two, however he had poor eyesight which prevented him from serving overseas. read this;
Quote:
After completing fourteen home-study Army Extension Courses, Reagan enlisted in the Army Enlisted Reserve and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Officers Reserve Corps of the cavalry on May 25, 1937.[32]
Reagan was ordered to active duty for the first time on April 18, 1942. Due to his poor eyesight, he was classified for limited service only, which excluded him from serving overseas
and W served in the national guard, and was willing to go to vietnam but he did not have enough time in fighters to go.
and trump got a few student deferments, and then AFTER taking a military physical was given a 1-Y deferment, which means he would be taken in the military only in times of national emergency. the 1-Y deferment was ultimately changes to 4-F when the 1-Y classification was abolished.
Third, Trump is cooked after today. Unless he is solely concerned with topping out with a fringe % of the smallest party.
The MSM wants this. The polls however say otherwise.
