Well its taken decades to destory the republican party with neocons to completely destroy the party. Thou for sometime a civil war within the republican party has been going on and still does in the tea party agenda.
We have 2 types of republicans.
1. Christians Do Gooders, We know what is best for you, Controlling social conservatives, big government spending republicans, think they have moral duties to the world at the cost of debt, sell of your jobs to third world countries because its good for business, support illegal immgrantion because their lawn service boys are from mexico, war on drugs, spy on everyone to feel safe, pat everyone done at the airport, say muslim extremist every 2 secs, and listen sean hannity on economics and the war on terror, and believe everything government tells you when it comes to spending, economics and disasters and raising the debt ceiling. You think having an empire is some how reagan doctrine, or use reagan every 2 words because you are left with the ghost of someone who said Peace thru Strength. That does not mean have 3 wars and troops in 130 countries. You think your a federalist, will vote for Romney, McCain, Huckabee, Palin (because she is a nice person or is hot or because she is a woman), Rick Perry, Herman Cain because you think and or how we can give more tax breaks to the corporations. These same corporations go to washington and steal from the tax payer for government bailouts and handouts. They don't need any help from government to sell the tax payer down the river. These people are criminals you can still be a business owner and be a CROOK esp if you like washington.
2. Follow the Constitution, believe in civil and personal liberty, economic and social liberty to not be regulated by the federal government but left to states where not listed in the constitution, End wars with no plan of victory, fiscal conservative, social conservative but NOT forcing it via government, support balanced budgets, to end the federal war on drugs, get rid of the income tax, not pro business but pro individual on taxes and less regulations. Get rid of the department of education. Small government, with state governments constitutionally sound on the princples of liberty. Return the printing power of money to the treasury and remove the FED authority on currency, allow gold and silver to be legal tender and other currency based on free markets. Federal government has no say in abortion but left to the states, laws CONTINUE to protect all life removing roe vs wade. Religion is a individual right not a group right and has no business in government christian or muslim of which are unconstitutional against all other free people. Want to be left alone, government social programs to admit failure and bankrupty and allow for individuals to find their own solutions and OPT out. Give young people the direction of freedom and liberty without government and corproations working together to send your jobs overseas for cheap labor. We dont want protectionist or isolationism but remove HB1 visa programs created by the government so Americans have better chances at keep their jobs. Trade our goods not our people and our jobs. Don't give foreign aid to any country, private individuals and charities should help not goverment funding terrorist nations and dictators. Liberty while it has some different outcomes and possible adjustments our decisions as individuals will be better then the elite few in washington.
This is the battle within the TEA PARTY within the republian party of which gives people 2 options.
1. The status quo with the illusion of less taxes, but paid and sold by corrupt corporations found in the democrat party as well. (See Obama) They will blame Obama with no solutions, think R next the name will mean change and the illiusion that the president "creates jobs" They will put so much hope into businesses while forgetting they are globalist they put profits over people and if they can legalize it via government POWER they will. IF you like wars be prepared to pay for them 14 trillion in debt if you want to police the world that is alot of funding your going to need to do the job NOT AUTHORIZED in the CONSTITUTION!
2. Liberty and small government. Where business has no power over markets, business has no power over people WHY because in option 2 you follow the constitution their is no authority to give up speical privledge to any business. Business will pay low tax, PEOPLE will pay lower TAX. People run their own lives and washignton is left to defend our country not the united nations agenda. In option 2 your freedom and pursuit of happiness is not provided via government only protected when governmnet or other individuals overstep others rights to do so.

Option 2 please. Following "Option 1" is what has nearly destroyed any confidence in the Republican party, and made them difficult to differentiate from the Democratic party.
The irony is that the MSM will do everything in their power to portray the Tea Party as "Option 1" Repubs, when in fact they are the opposite. In fact, they are the only real hope of both the party and, from an economic standpoint, for the country.

The last election (2010) fox news and the grass roots started atleast for NOW started listening to OPTION 2. Thou many in option 1 just voted for option 2 because they had a R next the name to defeat the democrat agenda.

Toyman... good point. I believe most people in the MSM are Option 1 people I just wish freedom of speech would give us more Option 2 choices in the MSM then again I suspect that won't happen. Guess we will just have to things the old fashion way GRASSROOTS something the MSM still doesn;t know anything about.

I didn't meantion Bachmann yet, I will give her some rope to hang her self with ACTUAL DETAILS and PLANS on economics. Being that she says alot of nothing and people cheer with no details I suspect you are probably correct.

Bachmann is like Palin, all bark and no bite. They talk big about small government, but I seriously doubt either will do anything to actually shrink government
