Just a case of luck? wow, we did draw a great straw !

(no need to give a link, there are thousands, very easy to check)

EDIT : I will add that "despite" that sex education, teenagers in France for example lose their virginity at virtually the same age they did 50 years ago : 17,4 years for boys, 17.6 years for girls nowadays, it used to be 17,9 years and 18,9 years for generations born between 1944 and 1953. But marriage age is now much older than it used to be . Maybe teens can now lose their virginity (and still choose not to before the same age as their grandparents) but don't "have to" get married when they get pregnant since they know how not to ? Just a thought...
Why nobody answers this?

This is the "sex education" you are defending? (Note to self: Ignore any future advice given on public school sex education from this poster. )

"A drill with a special attachment was used on a female student, wrapped in a towel, and in front more than 100 students."

I think this expert pretty well sums it up.

"New York City sex therapist Jane Greer said the Northwestern class was hardly education. It was more voyeuristic and pornographic. And as for the contraption seen on the video …"

“It sounds like it was a drill-do instead of a *****, if you will,” Greer said. “Sexual activity coming alive is crossing the border into pornography. It’s really not education.”

"At the very least it’s not the college education, students and parents would typically expect."

Fail post.

I see that when it suits you, you use New York "That big Liberal city" to justify your hate but attack it at any other chance.

That part of class was at the end and you did not need to stay for it.

Who said I was defending it? Just what do you consider "defense" anyway? You need to knock off the personal attacks ASAP, as I'm getting very annoyed, and when I get annoyed, I do things like report to the mods.

It was a voluntary demonstration AFTER class.

The article states that 20 other states already have sex ed as mandatory and offers a link. I'm curious if anyone from those states have major issues?

You can't seriously think that's acceptable in a classroom. Kids stay after class to do extra work sometimes. It's school, not a damn sex show.

It wasn't done in class and these were college students, not middle schoolers. If they don't know what sex is by then, they're brain dead.

It was tasteless, but I wouldn't be up in arms if my kid had been there.

Voluntary or not, it was done in the school and supervised (I'm being nice here) by a teacher.
Do we have no more morals ?
So it's ok that it was "voluntary". Just the fact that it was done IN school and hosted by the teacher should upset everyone. There is absolutely NO need for that to be going on in college classes, voluntary or not.

Have we no morals anymore ?

It was not done in a middle school or even a high school!
