Many of the looters are still in school or college. Some of the looters have good jobs.. a graphic designer was one such arrested.
Being poor is tough, as millions in America now know but to smash up your own community is just senseless criminality... no need for it.
Manchester has just spent a lot of money rebuiding after a huge bomb blast in the city centre a while back and now these thugs have destroyed it again.
They say they want respect... well respect must be earned first.
That is my point exactly though. They have not earned anything, nor do they have to in order to be taken care and provided with this free education etc. The government will rebuild their communities for them, the government will continue to provide them with these amenities.
There is no personal responsibility within their community, because it was provided by an outside entity with no human face, rather than themselves and their families. There is no sense of pride and no accountability to society. Perhaps if they had grown up having to work hard to build what they have, they would think twice before destroying what they have?
