Obama has been a negative to this point. He has not made America better.
Even with the latest roller coaster ride, the market has recovered a lot.
Jobs instead of being lost are being added. I didn't say fast enough but adding is better than losing like we were.

I don't think Obama has been a negative.... enough of a positive? We can talk.

I don't think only spending cuts and tax reductions are the answer.
I'd like to see the Bush cuts go away.... even if it's for everyone. But I would prefer to see it gone for those above $250,00 adjusted gross income. I think that revenue could be used to fund projects which employ people in the private sector and maybe even be used to keep some of the public employees that have been laid off.

The private sector isn't investing in things that will increase employment....

Agreed. Protect our borders, eliminate all forms of wellfare, (with exception to the sick and elderly) drug test anyone collecting foodstamps. and cut unemployment benefits down to 90 days. All of this should force freeloaders, wellfare queens, and the lazy and unproductive people in America in general to contribute, or find another place to live. This may sound extreme and harsh, but the reality is that entitlements have created this monster, thus harsh measures need to be taken.

^^^All are necessary.^^^

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Kick out the illegals first, then proceed with the rest.

You have got to be kidding or wholly ignorant of which you write.

Lead the IL Senate??? Really

This gutless pissant of a President, when a member of the IL Senate voted "Present" almost 150 time. Most legislators never find the need to absent themselves from casting a meaninful ballot in their entire career, but this pissant did so well over 100 tmes in less than a full term.

How pathetic can one politician get? And his absolute inabliity to "take ownership" of his role in that body has carried over to his grotesquely-pathetic "non-performance" as POTUS.

Obama is an abject disgrace to America, our form of government, and, yes, even the Democrat party for whom disgrace is SOP.

EVERY PRESIDENT has inherited problems in the past, yet they faced their problems and dealt with them, as a leader should.

Obama, given the fact that he has failed to solve any problems, can only assign blame. It appears as though he really thinks that he, as president, should have inherited a perfect world.

Bush inherited the "dot com" bubble burst and a recession from Clinton. Bush was saddled with 9/11 early in his presidency. However, despite all the criticism from liberals, he actually faced the problems and did not whine like a child.

We need a president and a leader, not a whining child.

Obama knew of all the problems BEFORE he ran for office. Remember, he ran for US (ha ha ha), to make ''change we could believe in''. His Mantra was YES WE CAN!!!

HE said he could do it.

You are not suggesting that he either lied, or didn't know what he was talking about, are you?????????

Nowhere is Obama taking any responsibility...but that is not surprising.

But I wonder is anyone still listening to him, or is it like talking to a deaf person?
Speaking of whining

I'll agree with some of you say here but his blaming congress for the AA rating dropping is pure political BS. He's trying to position himself as above it all like usual.

Plus the healthcare bill rammed down the throat of Americans, unless of course you got an exemption, has done more to stifle jobs than anything he's mentioning. Hopefully the supremes throw the whole thing in the garbage where it belongs.
