So much for that report from the police that said there was no evidence of this. They must have gotten a call from Holder to make them say that, now that one of the guilty came out and admitted it, it painted the police into a corner and now they HAVE to act.

I am not a fan of thought crimes, why not just charge them with assault and violence?
How do we know they hated them, maybe it was just extreme dislike?
It's amazing how these type of threads draw the exact same posters who give the exact same responses...I wonder if they have them copied on their computer just waiting for a chance to use them.
The kids targeted them because they were white. Okay done deal....charge them accordingly but don't try to sit here and act like every crime committed by a black person against a non-black person is a hate crime. I think hate crimes are generally pointless anyway because unless someone comes out and says "I targeted them because" just about every crime could be considered a hate crime.
