Nothing like flaunting government waste with a nice little trip to Maui for a vacation meeting.

Hill Staffers | Maui Taxpayer Trip | Senate Committee Hearing | The Daily Caller

Quote:
Rick Manning from Americans for Limited Government, which first discovered the hearing, told TheDC it’s unbelievable that Hill staffers talking about fiscal responsibility would waste money on a trip to Maui.

They are probably the same staffers that helped write the Obamacare legislation. They gotta reward them for all their hard work!

I'm just disgusted that the hardest working Americans in our society must pay for someone's else vacation while they themselves can't afford a vacation for their families.

Every politician is guilty of wasteful spending. You are just parsing to make it seem like only the Democrats are corrupt.
