At least he picked the right color for his magical misery tour has it being called; Funeral black. He's doing what he does best ;sell speeches to the desprate that its someone else fault. Now its not evil Bush;evil wall street;evil business; evil reublicsan trroeist;evil Tea aprty terrosist;its just bad luck.He basically has said in three weeks he's combining all the same failed policies into one big package.I have a feeling his vision is bad too'as he can't believe those people see saw waving;all are missing four fingers.
There has NEVER been a time when the truth came out of that corrupt SOB...
Love him while you can, he is a lame duck walking.. I hope the nation can survive for another year and a half.....!!
Think he is going to start with the truth now, not on our lives. You know how it go's it is everyone fault, disasters, bad luck, everything has nothing to do with him what so ever. Everyone else yes, but him no. I would respect the Man, if he took some responsibility because a lot of people are responsible for this mess including him. A Man takes responsibility for their own actions, mistakes, and screw ups.
I don't find it outrageous really. The economy has had a meltdown, and it is bad luck if you bought your first home in 2005 or you just graduated from college in 2011. No doubt about it.
However, that bad luck has some clear origins in deregulation, binging on debt, and outsourcing of the last decade. Specific people, attitudes, and behaviors brought this recession on, just as they did in 1893, 1929, 1973, and 2001. This one is closest to the Depression of 1929, so if you were thrown out of work by the craziness of others, or you are $100k underwater because everyone told you your house was work $300k and is is really worth $150k, I think you would feel pretty unlucky. The reality is that most of the people most strongly affected by this recession were simply the the wrong place at the wrong time. Some complete scumbags parachuted out with billions.
Good Howie Hubler for an example.
But, people here want to pin it on Obama, which is just a joke. He had very little if anything to do with this recession.
The progression and health of our democracy has been decimated by the presence of regressive obstructionists going on 13 years now. The GOP stinks and always impacts the economy in the most negative of ways.
President Obama is right and spot on with this comment.
Conversation between a Republican candidate and a naive supporter...
Republican: "You're a hard-working American who can't afford health care and I'm fighting for you! That's why we're gonna kill Obama's health care plan! You see, it'll cripple him politically and pretty soon, we'll be back in power!"
Supporter: "AH! So then I'll get health care!?"
Republican: Well...No...but you won't have to lie awake at night worrying about lesbians getting married!"
President 'Pass The Buck' is still whining; why doesn't he blame his fellow Democrats includign Slick Willie, Chris, Barney, Maxine, Jim Johnson & others for their substantial roles in gutting mortgage underwriting requirements which had been perfect for several decades, which led to the housing meltdown and later the international financial meltdown.
If Obama wants to blame anybody else for HIS economic policies, just have somebody hand him a mirror; the Democrats had three-plus years to try and initiate steps to repair the economy, and they did nothing about it except made it worse.

Three-plus whole years to reverse the biggest mortgage meltdown in modern history? Give me a break. This is disenginuous on its face. There is no way HIS policies had anything to do with this economy. You are trying to pin the recession on the Dems for political points. Cop to it.
I don't think everything is Bush's fault, though I do think the loose regulation of Wall Street, banking, and mortgage lending was huge (and that was not all federal, I have herd California led the charge on the last one), as was the crazy debt spending by everyone. For what it is worth, I think Clinton was one of the guilty parties too, when he approved NAFTA and the repeal fo Glass-Steagall. Of course, both initiatives were led by a republican congress. Still, that makes much more sense than assuming this recession could be reversed in three years or pinned on Obama. We are much closer to the Great Depression (10+ years of pain) or the Japanese meltdown (15+ years of pain) than the 2001 recession.
Leave it to Republicans to think that higher gas prices, middle east uprisings, the earthquake in Japan, Europe's mess, and a hostile Republican Party who's goal is to gridlock America has nothing to do with the economy.
They expect this single man to magically fix everything that they ****ed up.
all we can do is go by what he promised he could do while he was campaigning.
We thought he could do what he swore/promised/guaranteed he could do.
at the time, we didnt realize he was a spineless coward w/no guts.
so much for hope, we definitely got plenty of change, too bad its destroying our country.
