Why would you presume everyone would be high if marijuana were legal? Alcohol is legal and everyone is not drunk.

Stupid people will misuse substances whether or not they are legal. Despite their many assertions to the contrary government cannot protect you from stupid people.

Personally, I disagree with marijuana use. That said I do not support government's continued ineffective attempts to control it's use.

Really! Who the heck CARES about what someone does inside the confines of their own home behind closed doors???? Do you think the GOVERNMENT should be able to have a say? For Pete's Sake. Life is too short. Live and let live. As long as the government isn't teaching sex acts in the 6th grade (which they would if the liberals had their way), I'm O.K. with it.

The federal government should protect our right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". Period. Nothing more and nothing less should they do.

Do you realize how much pot is grown here in the US and also brought in illegally. There would be more people than you think and they would be high.. talk to MADD and know there are too many drunks.

"Everyone high". That sounds like, majority rules, to me. Everyone doesn't want to be high but if they did why is it anyones business to tell them they can't.

Yes, I have a good idea of how much pot is grown here. A number of years working in law enforcement did a good job of educating me on both illegal drug issues and the proliferation of drunk drivers on the street at any given time.

Nothing I have seen convinces me the federal government has any business inserting itself into these issues.

No, you would give me the same parroted line I hear 100 times a day, "Thank you for your service". When I hear some flabby couch potato like you say that to me it makes me sick. Yes, I serve our country, but our wars do not. I do my best to keep my men alive while we carry out this sick policy of sticking our noses in other peoples business. When was the last time you had a friend die in your arms or look for the leg that was just blown off of the man next to you? When was the last time you walked past dead children that were killed by U.S. weapons? I'm glad you can sleep at night, because many times I cannot. I have children myself you self righteous SOB. If someone killed my children you can bet I would do everything in my power to seek revenge.
You dare call me rabid and blind? I know what I am talking about. Why don't you grab a gun and head to Iran if you want to fight them so much. Ron Paul is right. They are no threat to us. We need to mind our own business. They hate us not because we are rich and free, they hate us because we are in their countries. It is people like you that are the biggest threat to this country, not Iran.
Total garbage/nonsense, which is why ron paul has zero chance of being elected, and anyone who thinks iran is not a major national security threat to not just the US, but the world, is an idiot.

As for this alleged "sgt.".... yeah right....
