We must say to every Texas child learning in a Texas classroom, “we don’t care where you come from, but where you are going, and we are going to do everything we can to help you get there.” And that vision must include the children of undocumented workers. Flip.....flop....flip......flop.....
Perry is too much like Bush and he's done all he could to keep those borders open in Texas. And Texas has big budget problems as a result. Property taxes are very high and climbing.
Rick Perry suggests predator drones for border patrol
I wonder what the cost difference is between UAVs and the military patrolling the border. If it's cost effective, let's try it in one border state and see if it works.
Are you kidding me? Do you really think that marijuana supports the cartels? The cartels couldn't care less is marijuana is legalized.
True. They're into the stolen vehicle business including carjackings, chop shops, kidnapping for ransom, child sex slavery and anything that gets them easy money. Pot is just a small part of the cartels' operations, and legalizing it won't affect them.

It would be a hell of a lot cheaper to have the military patrolling our borders than policing every one else.
